The electric car that costs 7,000 euros

Renault Twizy is the name of an electric car that’s cheaper than most car on the market. It was developed by the European manufacturer and it can be bought for just 7,000 euros. The car can be connected to any 220V outlet and the battery will fully charge in 3 hours and a half.

According to its specifications, you will get around 100 kilometers per charge at a maximum speed of 45 km / h for the Twizy 45 (5 HP motor) version and 80km / h for the Twizy80 that features a 17 HP engine .

The manufacturer hopes that this new car will appeal to open minded customers with an interest for the environment. This vehicle is the perfect solution urban agglomerations.

Although the vehicle is small, it packs enough features to compete with a conventional car: front airbags , disc brakes on all wheels or coded immobilizer, seat belts, audio equipment , water-resistant upholstery, two glove compartments and two storage spaces in the back.

Among the optional extras we found vertical opening door system, alloy wheels , panoramic roof and parking sensors.
