10 cool future smartphone designs

Sometimes we just need to have some fun and stop being so serious when we think of technology. As you may know, I love smartphones and I’ve already teased some of the most anticipated smartphones of 2014 in a previous article, but since it’s Christmas, I decided to do something different. It’s time to see a collection of interesting concepts on future smartphones. Most of these concept designs are based on rumors and on current trends, but most probably, they won’t see the light of day as physical devices.

This particular concept follows an interesting design that lacks any button on the front face. Everything is replaced by a full-front-face-display. If this type of concept will be adopted, manufacturers will be able to pack even bigger displays in their devices while maintaining the size of the gadget.

Foldable smartphones. This trend seems to be the next big thing in technology, and every major manufacturer is racing to release at least a successful device with this characteristic. Although rumors regarding an Apple smartphone with a curved display surfaced a while back and got a lot of attention, most tech blogs agree that Samsung could release the first foldable smartphone.

Slimmer smartphones. I noticed this type of gadget while I was watching the new “Almost Human” TV series. The main protagonist uses a slim smartphone that actually works. So, what if we could see this implemented in the future? Would you buy it?
