In my lifetime, I have seen Compact Flash cards with capacities of 2, 4 and 8 MB and it is still difficult to get used to the idea that a card with the size of a small fingernail can hold 64 GB. However, I am convinced that in the near future we will see the 128 GB fast memory card from Sandisk. On SanDisk Extreme microSDXC, the emphasis is on increasing the speed of reading and writing data, so the users cam do more things with their equipment: they can enjoy HD pictures and videos of very good quality on their latest 4G smartphones, tablets and video cameras.

The card is also compatible with the latest full HD camcorders and still cameras that are capable of recording Full HD video clips or 4K HD resolution videos.

The manufacturer says it has tested the new Extreme microSDHC cards in harsh conditions, and they do withstand water, shock, and even X-rays. Extreme SanDisk microSDHC cards and microSDXC are globally available with the following capacities: 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. The prices for these cards are between $60 and $200.
