I am not particularly found of heights, I don’t like to travel with airplanes and I will definitely not escalade the Everest peak. But, sometimes, you just need to push yourself to the limit in order to create everlasting memories. Seeing the World’s greatness from a special location like a viewing platform that’s suspended over an abyss will take your breath away instantly, giving you a glimpse of hope in your life.
Auckland’s Sky Tower
This viewing structure is located in New Zealand and it has a height of 328 meters, offering 80 km views in every direction.
Aurland Lookout
This viewing platform is located in Aurland, Norway. Designed by Todd Saunders and Tommie Wilhelmsen in 2002, it was completed in 2006. Aurland Lockout has 2200 m2 long.
Dachstein Sky Walk
The platform was constructed in 2005, and it features a balcony and extends located above the 250-meter perpendicular wall of rock falling out of the Hunerkogel. A portion of the base platform is made of glass and the observation deck is significantly higher than the observation deck at Niagara Falls or the Iguazu waterfalls in Brazil. It is located in Alps.

This viewing platform is located in Iowa County, Wisconsin. The construction started in 1945, and it was originally opened in 1959. The Infinity Room is a complex of rooms, streets and gardens designed by Alex Jordan Jr, using the modernism architectural style.
Suspended platform at Iguazu Falls
The semicircular waterfall at the heart of this site is approximately 80 m high and 2700 m in diameter and is situated on a basaltic line, spanning the border between Argentina and Brazil. The Iguazu Falls is composed of several cascades producing large sprays of water, making it one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. From this platform, the viewer can see the surrounding subtropical rainforest with over 2,000 species of vascular plants and animals like tapirs, giant anteaters, howler monkeys, ocelots, jaguars and Caymans.
Top of Tyrol
The steel platform can be found in “Isidore” Glacier from Stubai Alps. It is located at an altitude of 3200 m and 9 m of it is suspended in the air, leaving a floating impression on the visitors. The structure is fixed with anchor bolts directly into the layer of permanently frozen ground (permafrost).
