Frank R. Paul is an American illustrator that defined the cover artworks and interior illustrations of the Sci-fi magazines back in the 1920s. He had his own personal style of imagining and drawing the future by adding a lot color and contrast to his drawings. I couldn’t help but notice that, in these drawings, all the planets that are located in our solar system were inhabited by beings that could haunt every child’s dream. Paul was not afraid to go the extra mile and he added his own color signature to these artworks: red. That’s the predominant color. It’s catchy, right? Oh, if these images were not enough to convince you of his talent, you should know that Frank draw the first Marvel Comics issue from 1939.
