Philips W6618: the Android smartphone with the best battery life

I will start with this: the device I’m going to introduce is not your top-notch smartphone, but it has a feature that will definitely capture your attention. If you are to take a quick look at the specifications of this handset you should immediately notice that Philips W6618 is an average dual-sim smartphone with a poorly design. It has a 5 inch display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels, a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage.

You noticed that so far I didn’t mention the battery, right? That’s because this device packs a 5300mAh battery that allows the smartphone to remain on the grid for 33 hours of talk time and 66 days in standby time. As expected, this battery influence the thickness of the smartphone (11.6mm), making it more bulky than the competing models on the market (S5, M8).

According to CNMO, the handset can be bought only from Chinese market for $273.
